Prince accompanies the piece with the following poem:
Those who are not very good at creating distractions,
Have to confront their knotted thoughts.
Some do escape.
Few others surrender.
This is to remember those gentle souls who surrendered,
And therefore escaped to eternity.

"Mental health is always jeopardised in this fast paced world, and tragically its effects ripple through generations. Healing becomes a much longer and harder journey. It is time for society as a whole focus on the emotional and mental well-being of its people especially the younger generation." -Soma Prince
Born and raised in Kerala, India, and now residing in UK, Soma works as a freelance graphic designer. As an artist, she believes a deeper understanding of the self as an essential part of raising society's individual and collective emotional and mental well-being.
Her pen art works dive into the thoughts of the 'deeper self.' Prince's visual explore similarities within human emotions, and how there is a seeking of meaningful connections to our surroundings through those emotions. The artist's intricate works usually depict the feminine elements as a point to explore self-discovering and healing - individually and collectively.
