CHU Yiu-Wai
Chu's works explore the relationship between mammonist and artist, combining performance and new media art in response to societal and cultural issues, such as problems in the local art ecology.
Graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Apply and Media Art at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007, CHU Yiu-Wai was a part-time lecturer in Hong Kong Design Institute and the School of Professional and Continuing Education in the University of Hong Kong. Active in the art scene since 2002, he participated in art exhibitions across Hong Kong, China, India and the United Kingdom, including the Affordable Art Fair. Some of his works have been collected by private collectors and art museum such as the Hong Kong Art Center. He is the creative director of A Stroke Design Limited and fishycraft and an active member of the non-profit art group, Project226.
