Frederic Belaubre

French artist portraying intimate scenes from contemporary conflict
Frederic Belaubre is a French artist who trained at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris (Beaux-Arts de Paris). His medium choice is ecclectic, spanning from oils and watercolour, to drawing and ink. Over the years, Belaubres's work has been exhibited around France; for example, in Gallery New Image, Gallery Cyrano and Gallery Simone Boudet. Back in the 90s, the artist worked for a few years designing theatrical scenery - this can be seen to inform his practice today. His visual diversity and open explorations allow Belaubre's work to capture an expression of "the spirit of life, its power and its diversity.
