CHU Yiu-Wai

Chu's works explore the relationship between mammonist and artist, combining performance and new media art in response to societal and cultural issues, such as problems in the local art ecology.

Graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Apply and Media Art at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007, CHU Yiu-Wai was a part-time lecturer in Hong Kong Design Institute and the School of Professional and Continuing Education in the University of Hong Kong. Active in the art scene since 2002, he participated in art exhibitions across Hong Kong, China, India and the United Kingdom, including the Affordable Art Fair. Some of his works have been collected by private collectors and art museum such as the Hong Kong Art Center. He is the creative director of A Stroke Design Limited and fishycraft and an active member of the non-profit art group, Project226.

Based on our agreement with the artist, 15% of the pre-VAT price excluding frames will be donated to support the social movement. Donation will be split equally across Hong Kong Watch and Hong Kong Assistance and Resettlement Community.

Artwork will be shipped directly by the artist from the UK. We currently ship to the UK and Continental Europe only, with a delivery duration of 10-15 business days within UK and 15-20 business days across Continental Europe. Delivery to Europe will be subjected to additional import VAT and duties to be paid to the courier directly.
